Vice President, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, is expected to embark on a working visit to the Ashanti Region on Monday, September 29, with scheduled engagements aimed at deepening the government’s interaction with market traders and traditional leadership.
As part of her itinerary, the Vice President will tour the Mamponteng, Suame, and Krofuom markets, where she will engage directly with traders to listen to their concerns, challenges, and expectations from the government.

This visit forms part of ongoing efforts by the administration to enhance dialogue with key stakeholders in the informal sector and to ensure that market women and small-scale traders are included in the national development conversation.
Prof Opoku-Agyemang will also pay a courtesy call on the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, at the Manhyia Palace.
