President John Mahama, on Friday, October 17, 2025, hosted the Prime Minister of Grenada, Dickon Amiss Thomas Mitchell, for bilateral talks at the presidency in Accra to strengthen cooperation between the two nations.
The Grenadian leader was accompanied by his Chief of Staff, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade and Export Development, and other senior government officials.

The meeting, held on the sidelines of an international engagement, focused on expanding opportunities in health, education, and economic development.
A key outcome of the discussions was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that will create new employment opportunities for Ghanaian nurses in Grenada.

The agreement marked a significant step in deepening Ghana–Grenada relations and promoting professional exchange within the health sector.
