Ghana's U-20 female team are expected to leave for the 2025 edition of the WAFU B Girls' Cup on Monday, November 3.
The Black Princesses are looking to defend the title they won in the first edition when it was hosted in Kumasi two years ago. That historic triumph saw Ghana edge out arch-rivals Nigeria 3–1 on penalties after a tightly contested final ended in a stalemate.
The tournament is scheduled to kick off on Friday, November 7, in Benin for the second edition since the inception of the tournament.
Head coach Charles Sampson is expected to name his final squad for the tournament in the coming days after initially inviting 26 players to camp.
The team has been working on their final preparations ahead of the tournament, which will see just three countries participate.
Three countries will feature in this year's tournament after Niger dropped out: Benin, Ghana and Nigeria. The format will be an all-play-all format
