Otto Addo and his technical team are expected to release their squad by the end of the week, ahead of Ghana’s Asia tour friendlies.
The Black Stars will face Japan on November 14 before taking on South Korea four days later.
The matches form part of preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
“Tentatively, we are looking at the end of this week or the weekend to confirm who will be in the squad and the full complement of the team,” Communications Director of the Ghana FA, Henry Asante Twum, told JoySports.
“The plan is for the advanced team to depart Accra on Friday for Japan, followed by the rest of the technical team.
“I don’t know yet if there will be local players. Depending on their number, they will hopefully travel on Sunday to Japan. We will then receive the players after their respective matches on Tuesday.”
Addo will use the games to assess players and make necessary adjustments ahead of the country's fifth appearance at the global tournament.
Meanwhile, the draw for the World Cup will take place on December 5 in Washington, where Ghana will discover its group-stage opponents.
