A packed week of key government activities has been outlined by the Minister of State in charge of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, in a post on Facebook on Sunday, November 9.
According to Mr Kwakye Ofosu, the report into the August 6 helicopter crash will be presented to the National Security Council on Monday, November 10.
The incident, which resulted in the deaths of eight persons, including ministers of state, other government officials and crew members.
All eight distinguished individuals who lost their lives were Dr Edward Omane Boamah, then Minister for Defence; Dr Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed, Minister for Environment, Science and Technology; Muniru Mohammed Limuna, Acting Deputy National Security Coordinator; Dr Samuel Sarpong, Vice-Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC); and Mr Samuel Aboagye, a former parliamentary candidate.
Also on the ill-fated flight were Squadron Leader Peter Bafemi Anala, Flying Officer Manaen Twum Ampadu, and Sergeant Ernest Addo Mensah, all members of the Ghana Armed Forces.

He added that the details of the report would be made public at a media briefing on Tuesday, November 11, allowing Ghanaians to gain full insight into the causes and recommendations arising from the inquiry.
On Wednesday, President John Dramani Mahama is expected to launch the much-anticipated “Nkoko Nkitinkiti” programme in Kumasi. The initiative, whose name translates loosely as “the strong foundation”, is aimed at promoting youth employment and industrial development in the Ashanti Region and beyond.
The week’s major events will conclude on Thursday, November 13, when the Finance Minister presents the 2026 Budget Statement to Parliament.
Mr Kwakye Ofosu described the upcoming budget as one that “brims with far-reaching policy initiatives”, signalling possible economic reforms and renewed efforts to stabilise growth.
