Karela United and Dreams FC played out a 1-1 draw on Sunday at the Aliu Mahama Stadium, as both sides settled for a point in a tightly contested Ghana Premier League encounter.
Malik Abubakar fired Karela ahead in the sixth minute with a well-struck effort that gave the home fans an early lift. However, Dreams FC found their response soon after the restart, with Seidu Suraj equalising in the 46th minute to restore parity.
Karela enjoyed the better of possession and created several opportunities but were unable to convert their dominance into a winning goal.
The result leaves Karela United ninth with 13 points on the league table, while Dreams FC sit 13th with eight points.
Karela will look to return to winning ways in their next fixture against defending champions Bibiani Gold Stars, while Dreams FC host Hohoe United as they seek to climb further up the standings.
