Matchweek 11 of the Ghana Premier League delivered a gripping five-goal spectacle as 2023 FA Cup champions Dreams FC fell 3-2 to Swedru All Blacks at the Tuba Park.
After a lively opening spell, newly promoted All Blacks broke the deadlock in the 22nd minute through Rudolf Mensah, who finished a well-timed move to give his side the lead. Dreams responded swiftly, with Suraj Seidu calmly converting a penalty just four minutes later to pull the hosts level.
The drama intensified as Yaovi Chris Guede restored Dreams’ advantage six minutes before halftime, tapping in from close range. But the celebrations were short-lived. In first-half stoppage time, Abdul-Aziz Adam struck to bring All Blacks back on level terms heading into the break.
Barely a minute after the restart, Benjamin Adjei fired home to put All Blacks 3-2 up—completing a remarkable turnaround.
Dreams pushed for an equalizer in the end-to-end second half, but All Blacks held firm to secure all three points.
The win lifts Swedru All Blacks out of the relegation zone and above Dreams FC into 12th place on the league table.
