The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the schedule for the 2025 written promotion examinations for eligible teachers, as part of its annual promotion cycle.
According to a press release issued by the Service, the examinations will be held on Monday, December 29 and Tuesday, December 30 across designated centres nationwide.
The GES has directed all candidates to report to their assigned examination centres no later than 8:30 a.m. on each examination day.
Candidates are required to bring along their original Ghana Card and any other materials specified by the Service.

Details regarding the examination venues, the full list of eligible candidates, and the invigilation rosters will be communicated in due course, the statement said.
The GES has instructed Regional Directors of Education to ensure that the information is disseminated promptly to all schools and teachers under their supervision.
Teacher unions, including the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), the National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT), and the Coalition of Concerned Teachers (CCT), have also been urged to share the details with their members and encourage eligible teachers to take part in the promotion exercise.
The Service expressed appreciation for the continued collaboration of stakeholders and urged all involved to help ensure a smooth, efficient, and successful promotion examination process.
