The Ministry of Education has confirmed that all teacher allowances for November 2025 have now been fully processed and paid, following a brief technical delay in the payroll system.
In a statement signed by the Deputy Minister for Education, Clement Apaak, the Ministry explained that the Controller and Accountant-General's Department (CAGD) had completed processing and disbursing the two types of allowances planned for November, but a technical issue in the final payroll run had temporarily prevented payments from being processed as scheduled.
“This unforeseen challenge has since been resolved by the CAGD, paving the way for the completion of the payments,” the statement read.
The Ministry extended its apologies to all affected teachers for the delay and any inconvenience it may have caused, expressing gratitude for their patience, understanding, and continued dedication.

“We deeply appreciate the commitment of our teachers, whose efforts remain central to the delivery of quality education across Ghana,” it added.
The Ministry further emphasised its ongoing collaboration with the Controller and Accountant-General's Department and other stakeholders to enhance payroll systems and prevent similar issues in the future.
