Black Stars midfielder Ibrahim Sulemana found his scoring boots once again as Cagliari defeated Hellas Verona over the weekend.
Sulemana scored the third goal in his side's 4-0 win at home to move to 12th on the Serie A league table.
The defensive midfielder moved to Cagliari during the January transfer window after failing to secure playing minutes during his loan spell at Bologna.
Sulemana made his debut for the club in the win over Fiorentina two weeks ago before coming off the bench once again for his second appearance since his arrival.
Having been brought on in the 66th minute, the Ghanaian scored in the 84th minute to make it 3-0 after Luca Mazzitelli and Semih Kilicsoy had scored in the opening half for Cagliari.
Riyad Idrissi wrapped up the win with a fourth goal in additional time.
With his appearance against Verona, Sulemana has now managed five appearances this season in the league, while he has one goal to his name.
Sulemana's move to Cagliari was to fight for playing time as he targets making Ghana's squad for the 2026 World Cup.
