A brief but dramatic moment unfolded during the Zambia–Ghana Business Dialogue in Lusaka when President John Mahama instinctively prevented a lady from falling off the stage.
The incident occurred as dignitaries gathered for a photo session following the main event.
While ascending the podium from the front, one attendee misjudged her step and began to slip.
In a split-second reaction, President Mahama, who was standing nearby, reached out and caught her.
He then helped pull her safely onto the stage, averting what could have been a serious injury.
