The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the closure of the Premium Passport Application Centres in Accra and Kumasi, effective from February 20, 2026.
According to a press statement issued on Monday, February 23, this decision affects all applicants currently using these centres, particularly those with pending applications.
The Ministry advises affected clients to visit the Regional Passport Application Centres for the processing of their passport applications going forward.
Applicants requiring assistance are encouraged to contact the Passport Office Client Service Unit on 0302-754-200 for support and guidance during the transition.
The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to providing quality public service and assured the general public of its dedication to maintaining efficient and effective passport services despite the closure of these premium centres.
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs wishes to take this opportunity to assure the general public of its commitment to deliver quality public service," the statement ended.
