Prudential Bank Limited and Mastercard have reaffirmed their collaboration to support Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and corporate clients with payment and banking solutions.
The discussion took place during a visit by a Mastercard delegation to Prudential Bank’s head office in Accra.
The meeting focused on strategic priorities for 2026 and potential areas of cooperation across Corporate Banking, SME banking, personal banking and digital payment solutions.
Mastercard Country Director, Bossman Kwapong, said the meeting provided an opportunity to understand Prudential Bank’s plans for the coming year and identify areas for collaboration.
Acting Managing Director of Prudential Bank, Ebow Quayson, said the bank intends to continue using technology to improve its services. He noted that the partnership with Mastercard is expected to support the delivery of digital payment options to corporate, SME and personal banking customers.
Discussions also covered SME and corporate propositions, personal banking services, cybersecurity awareness and fraud prevention.
The Mastercard delegation included Idriss Damiri, Vice President, Services Business Development (Morocco); Unwana Esang, Vice President, Services Business Development (Lagos, Nigeria); Grace Adu-Okyere, Director of Account Management; and George Opoku, Manager of Account Management.
Prudential Bank was represented by Edward Commey, Executive Head, Corporate and Institutional Banking; Charles Ofori, Head of Personal Banking; Frederick Adomako-Ansah, Head of Commercial Banking; Zibrim Mohammed, Head of Transactional Banking; Florence Boahene, Head of Cash Management and Trade Sales Unit; as well as representatives from its Marketing, Corporate Affairs and Digital Transformation departments.
