Popular Nigerian singer, Chike, has called out a social media user, Chioma Nneoma Ochibili, for allegedly defrauding him.
In a series of posts on X Monday morning, Chike claimed that he gave Chioma $20,000 for a business but she didn’t meet her own end of the bargain.
The music star said he found out that he may have been defrauded very late.
He wrote, “Chioma Nneoma Ochibili, so you are a thief? That’s how they do. They will tell you they are doing certain business. Her business is to survive on your money.
“$50,000 in the air . $20,000 of my hard earned money I didn’t see either. How do I find out this late that I’m just another person she has duped. Even me I de laugh myself.”
He warned his followers not to do any business with alleged fraudster.
Responding to questions about the nature of his transaction with the alleged fraudster, Chike said that isn’t important and that the focus should be on the alleged fraud case.
“Whatever business chioma sells to you is not the issue . The big issue here is that the business does not even exist, which then equates to fraud,” he wrote.
The singer also revealed that he has initiated a process to recover the funds he allegedly lost to the alleged fraudster lady.
The alleged fraudster, Chioma Nneoma Ochibili is yet to respond to Chike’s allegations.
