The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has informed the public that power outages being experienced across parts of the Greater Accra Region are the result of faults caused by a recent heavy rainstorm.
In a statement issued on Sunday, March 29, ECG explained that the severe weather conditions had disrupted power supply in various areas.
The company reassured affected customers that its engineering teams were working tirelessly to restore power as quickly as possible.
"The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) wishes to inform our cherished customers and the general public that the outage being experienced across parts of the Greater Accra Region is as a result of faults caused by the heavy rainstorm," the statement read. "ECG wishes to assure all affected customers that our engineers are working assiduously to restore power supply."

In an effort to assist customers who are experiencing power disruptions in their individual homes or businesses, ECG has provided several contact options.
