Ghanaian spiritual figures McMaine and McKenzie, known as the Mystic Twins, have travelled to Los Angeles to collaborate with Haitian Voodoo Master Felix of Felix Botanica.

The Ghanaian spiritual figures and media personalities, famously known as the Mystic Twins, have marked another significant milestone on their ongoing United States tour, travelling to Los Angeles to collaborate and perform spiritual work with Haitian Voodoo Master Felix of the renowned Felix Botanica.

The encounter brings together two powerful lines of African diaspora spirituality, uniting indigenous West African pathworking with traditional Haitian Voodoo lineage in Southern California.

Master Felix, a longtime practitioner based in Lynwood, California, operates Felix Botanica, a longstanding sanctuary for authentic Haitian Voodoo supplies, consultations and spiritual cleansings. Rooted in a generational family tradition passed down from his father, a globally recognised Voodoo priest, Felix’s work centres on ancestral veneration, energy alignment and specialised spiritual defence.

The Mystic Twins, who carry 47 traditional initiations across indigenous West African lineages, sought out the meeting as part of their broader effort to engage global spiritual leaders and highlight shared African metaphysical origins.

During their time together in Los Angeles, the practitioners conducted joint spiritual work inside Felix Botanica, invoking ancestral protection, conducting energy cleansings and exchanging traditional wisdom regarding plant medicine and spiritual warfare.

The exchange focused heavily on the shared roots binding West African Vodun and Haitian Voodoo, traditions that share common ancestral deities, botanical formulas and ritualistic rhythms despite centuries of geographical separation.

Both the Mystic Twins and Master Felix emphasised the necessity of preserving authentic ancestral practices in an era where spirituality is increasingly commercialised.

This Los Angeles encounter adds to a growing itinerary for the Mystic Twins during their US stay, following engagements with prominent American spiritual practitioners and media personalities.

Through these international cross-cultural meetings, the brothers continue to position African indigenous wisdom as a vital, connected force on the global stage.
