Mr Okoming also revealed that Zoomlion Ghana has set up the ‘Zoom Foundation’ to extend similar donations to other institutions.
“We think that we need to give back something to our communities. We have set up the foundation to be able to move it [corporate social donations] even further”, he said.
He explained that the GHC240, 000 spent on the refurbishment of the elevator also includes cost of maintenance for three years.
Speaking on behalf of the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Alhassan, Commissioner of Police (COP), Frank Adu-Poku, thanked Zoomlion for the donation.
