The Accra Institute of Technology (AIT) proudly announces the successful conclusion of its 2025 Science, Technology, and Innovation Expo (STI Expo), held on October 16, 2025, at the University’s Knowledge City Campus in Kokomlemle, Accra. The event was chaired by Prof Benjamin Aggrey Ntim, the Associate Dean of Innovation & Industrial Partnerships.

The STI Expo 2025 showcased an impressive array of innovative capstone projects from final-year students across various disciplines, including Information Technology, Engineering, and Business Administration. The expo served as a vital platform for collaboration between academia and industry, inviting participation from other Ghanaian higher institutions, research institutes, and senior high schools.

The day-long program featured engaging activities, including exhibition of Innovative Projects: Students presented a diverse range of projects addressing real-world challenges, such as smart urban waste management systems, solar-powered inverter systems, and automated detection systems for poultry health.

Judging and Awards Ceremony: A panel of esteemed judges evaluated the projects based on criteria including uniqueness, market potential, and social impact. Awards were presented to outstanding projects, recognizing the innovative spirit and practical applications of the students' work.

Professor Ntim remarked, "The STI Expo has once again demonstrated AIT's commitment to bridging the gap between academia and industry. Our students have shown remarkable creativity and problem-solving skills, addressing societal challenges through technology."

The successful execution of the STI Expo 2025 reinforces AIT's dedication to fostering the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators who will contribute to the advancement of Ghana’s economy and society.
