Rauf Salifu's remarkable season in the Division One League continues after he scored against Akosombo Krystal Palace on Tuesday.
The goal bring his tally for the season to 20.
The in-form striker has been one of the shining lights of this league campaign, averaging 1.15 goals per game. His winner against Krystal Palace keeps Lions top of the table and in line for promotion to the Ghana Premier League.
The Accra Lions forward has been unstoppable this season, with his back-to-back hattricks against Agbozume Weavers and Phar Rangers the highlight.
Not even an injury, which kept him on the sidelines for two games, took the wind out of his sail. He scored on his return as Lions beat Young Wise in Accra to prep them for the top of table clash against Tema Youth.
While his goals continue to push Accra Lions towards Premier League football next season, he also has the chance to break Samson Eduku's 29 goal haul in 2017.
