The late George Agyei Frempong

The Assemblyman for Oguaa electoral area in the New Juaben South municipality in the Eastern region, George Agyei Frempong on Saturday afternoon died from electrocution.
Agyei Frempong who is believed to be in his late thirties was electrocuted while fixing a streetlight in his electoral area.
Eye witnesses say Agyei Frempong who is not a trained electrician fell from the electricity pole following a shock.
Some residents who were around when the incident happened rushed the assemblyman to the Eastern Regional Hospital but died later in the facility.
George Agyei Frempong, a known carpenter, was elected the assembly member for Oguaa electoral area in the last district assembly elections.
