The Bank of Ghana has re-instated two employees it dismissed in 2008 for unexplained reasons.
Joy Business has learnt the two Benjamin Duffour and Frank Otti Mensah returned to work on Tuesday after an Accra Fast Track court ordered their re-instatement.
Both of them, executives of the Senior Staff Association were dismissed for no official reason.
It was however speculated that they were axed for trying to instigate their colleagues to embark on a strike.
Central Bank Governor Kwesi Amissah-Arthur in an earlier interview with Joy Business had given his word that the two were going to get their jobs back.
“We don’t have an issue with the two gentlemen. They are members of staff who have gone to court and have succeeded and we have to accept them,” he said.
