Medeama took a step closer to winning their first league title over the weekend following their 2-1 win over King Faisal at Akoon Park.
The Yellow and Mauve lads hosted King Faisal at home on match day 32 and had to come from behind to secure all three points, moving them closer to a league title triumph.
Medeama's chances were boosted following Aduana FC's defeat to Dreams at home on Saturday, taking the Tarkwa-based side four points clear at the top of the league table.
Elsewhere at the El Wak Sports Stadium, Kofi Kordzi scored the only goal of the game as Legon Cities piped Hearts of Oak to victory. Hearts have now lost their last three games in the league dropping further down the table.
The game between Asante Kotoko and Karela United is scheduled for Monday, May 29.
