Less than a week after his loss to Robeisy Ramirez in Oklahoma, former world champion Isaac Dogboe is back to training.

Dogboe, who lost via a unanimous decision to Cuba’s Robeisy Ramirez, also lost the opportunity to annex the vacant WBO featherweight title, which was previously held by Emmanuel Navarrete.
“I am feeling very fine and good. Life goes on. I need to get myself back in the groove, and I am more than ready for it,” he told Joy Sports at the Headbangers Gym in Washington DC.
The former WBO super bantamweight champion immediately got to some mitt work and shadow sparring and skipping under the supervision of his trainers led by Barry Hunter.

“I am glad he has put the loss behind him. The good thing is that he is looking good and did not get hurt in the bout. So we are getting back to work,” Barry Hunter added.
In Dogboe’s post-bout interview with Joy Sports at the Hard Rock Casino, he indicated that he would take some time off to rest, a plan his head trainer also approved.
“I did mention I would take time off to rest, but I realized I would get bored. Besides, I’m not hurt, so I would rather come to the gym and get the work started,” Dogboe said.
Isaac Dogboe lost out on the WBO featherweight title after losing unanimously to Robeisy Ramirez of Cuba at the Hard Rock Casino and Hotel in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The judges scored the bout 117-110, 118-109, and 119-108 for Ramirez.
