The CEO of RuffTown Records says Wendy Shay motivated him to stay in the music industry after Ebony’s death.
Bullet said he had lost hope in himself and thought the death of his signee would be the end of his contribution to entertainment in the country.
The artiste manager born, Ricky Nana Agyeman, wrote on Instagram that at the time of Ebony's death he was in Sweden and was ready to start life afresh in there.
“I went through pain, shock, confusion and depression…The only thing that motivated me to stay in the music industry was one lady who was ready to quit nursing in Germany and relocate to do music in Ghana if only I will manage her,” he wrote on Instagram to celebrate Wendy Shay’s two year anniversary in the music industry.
Bullet explained that taking on Wendy Shay project was a risk for him. Her success or failure would decide the future of the label and ultimately his career.
He stated that Wendy’s consistency and success in the industry gave him the confidence to grow his label and take on more artistes than he intended.
“Today marks your two years in the music industry Wendy Shay want to say thank you for not giving up when they tried so hard to pull you down. Happy anniversary,” Bullet added.
