In the wake of the Covid19 outbreak, Advans Ghana Savings and Loans is is granting its customers a grace period to pay back their loans.
The entity said its borrowers will be able to benefit from a grace period, with specific measures adapted to each client’s situation.
Olivier Bailly-Béchet, the CEO of Advans Ghana stated that “the global outbreak of the COVID-19 crisis has already begun having a significant negative impact on many businesses and in this uncertain time, Advans Ghana’s objective is to relieve clients from the burden of paying back their instalment while the virus is spreading.
“Most important for Advans Ghana management team now is to give everyone the opportunity to stay safe and focus on protecting their families and loved ones. Thousands of our clients have already been called by our teams and have accepted our offer to implement a grace period on their loans”.
The financial institution said it is more than ever committed to support small businesses and farmers to get through the pandemic and to back the country’s efforts to control the spread of the virus.
The CEO of Advans Ghana stated that all branches in the Greater Accra Region and in Kumasi will remain open during the lockdown period.
He said “all other branches across the country will be opened in order to maintain proximity to our clients and help them to do their transactions.
“All measures have been taken in our branches to keep clients and staff safe and healthy with systematic hand washing at the entrance, respecting of social distancing and sensitization of the public on how to be protected from Covid-19.”
Advans’ clients can also make use of the Advans Mobibank service to conduct all their transactions from wherever they are in the country, he said.
