Ghana international Ernest Nuamah has been nominated for the Young Player of the Year at the 2023 CAF Awards.
Nuamah was an instrumental player for Nordsjaelland during the year under review as he was close to guiding the club to the Danish Superliga title.
The 20-year-old finished the 2022/23 season as the Player of the Season in Denmark, the Young Player of the Season. The forward was also nominated for the 2023 Golden Boy Award.
On the international scene, Nuamah was with the Black Meteors at the 2023 U-23 Africa Cup of Nations which was staged in Morocco.
The left-footed player scored one and provided an assist as Ghana suffered a group-stage exit from the competition.
The Right to Dream academy graduate also earned his Black Stars debut during the year under review going on to make a further four appearances in addition. He has scored two goals for the senior national team.

The forward is up for the award alongside Nigeria's Gift Orban, Morocco duo Abdessamad Ezzalzouli and Bilal El Khannouss and seven others.
The 2023 CAF Awards will take place in Marrakesh, Morocco, on December 11.
