On Thursday, he reiterated the theme for this year's celebration, "Working Together, Bouncing Back Better."
He also shared an infographic that honoured the founding fathers of the United Gold Coast Convention (UGCC), popularly known as the "Big Six."
They are; Kwame Nkrumah, Ebenezer Ako-Adjei, Edward Akufo-Addo, Joseph Boakye Danquah, Emmanuel Obetsebi-Lamptey and William Ofori Atta.
"These are the men, who in August,1947, laid the foundation for our struggle for Independence."
