The competition is getting hotter and tougher on Joy Prime’s Cues and Lyrics music reality show, as young music talent Richmel Udienentule Mensah, with the stage name Udiene, has captivated the judges' hearts with an intriguing performance.
He is the first to take over from second-time star performer Traygan, since the start of the contest.
The episode was dedicated to celebrating Ghana, and contestants were tasked to perform any preferred Ghanaian song.
Udiene’s performance improved, as he surprised the judges with an enthralling performance of ‘Sugarcane’ by Camidoh. He heeded the judges’ advice and bounced back stronger.
Comparing his previous performance, Judge Doreen Andoh said, "Boy is back looking good, smiling and singing good, and communicating with us. You've got your low notes on too, and you've got some dance moves. You owned the song; I like that, Udiene."
Judge Bullgod, also considering the young talent’s previous performance, stated that "you actually look happier than when you sang the ‘Happy’ song last week. You did great."

Udiene’s stage craft and voice got Doreen Andoh to say, "He has the cues and lyrics this week." Well done."
The episode also witnessed performances from the other eleven contestants, including TM Musiq, New Born, Limuel, Rich Glad, Trycia Williamz, Lovet, Suuparstar TZ, Mytee, Kwabena Muphasa, Kobby Shawn, and Traygan.
In the meantime, the fourth week of the show has just ended, and eviction is at the doorstep.
Who makes it to the top and eventually wins the bragging rights? Keep rolling out the votes for your favourite.
Cues and Lyrics airs every Sunday at 8:30 p.m. on Joy Prime. It is sponsored by Syntex Tank and powered by Hitz FM.
