Organisers say the initiative continues to evolve beyond football.

The event is expected to attract a wide range of stakeholders.
“This year’s ceremony is anticipated to attract a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including government officials, Members of Parliament, representatives from the sporting fraternity, corporate partners and sponsors, as well as members of the diplomatic corps,” it said.
On its broader impact, the statement emphasised the competition’s role in national unity.
“By harnessing the unifying power of the game, the initiative promotes civic responsibility, peaceful coexistence, and national cohesion.”
Further details about the competition will be announced ahead of the launch.
“As anticipation builds ahead of the official launch, organizers will unveil further details, including participating clubs, fixtures, and prize packages.”
