The Devtraco Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation which is a member of the Devtraco Group, teamed up with partners Innova DDB and support from Faytex Ghana to donate food items, sanitary products, and cash to the Mahlef Foundation over the festive season.
The donation exercise was aimed at supporting the Mahlef Foundation – a private not-for-profit aimed at providing support to teen mothers and helping them acquire skills to be able to cater for themselves after childbirth.
This comes after a series of donations to the Covid-19 relief fund, donation of FDA approved nose masks to commercial drivers, and basic school pupils and their teachers of basic schools in Accra, as well as the provision of a borehole to provide drinking water to residents of Asasekorkor.
The exercise, which took place at the premises of the Mahlef Foundation, had in attendance representatives from donors.
Helena Dodoo-Ankrah, the Head of Human Resources and Administration at Devtraco Plus touched on the Devtraco Foundation’s need to support institutions like Mahlef who are helping the less fortunate in society.
In addition, the Sales Manager for Devtraco Plus – Rabby Bray who doubles as an award-winning actor and movie producer and the brand ambassador for Faytex products lead the young mothers on a talk on female empowerment and on proper female personal hygiene.
Madam Happy Crentsil, the founder of the Mahlef Foundation, expressed gratitude to the Devtraco Foundation for their timely support towards their cause and expressed interest in seeing more of such partnerships in the future.
