A Dodge Journey saloon car was completely destroyed after catching fire at Shiashie early on Friday, December 12.
According to a post shared by the Ghana National Fire Service, the incident was reported to occurred at 8:17 am.

Heavy traffic delayed the response of the Legon Fire Station crew, led by ADO I Adjei, who arrived on the scene at 08:33 hours.

The team successfully extinguished the fire by 08:47 hours, but the vehicle was completely destroyed and deemed beyond repair.

The Service has advised drivers and vehicle owners to ensure they carry a functional portable fire extinguisher in their vehicles, which could help prevent total losses in similar incidents.

No injuries were reported, and investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing.
