Ghanaian musician Edem Goget’em has partnered with the Managing Director of fertiliser company, BH-Fertagro Limited, Robert Kwabena Ayitey, to make donations to some victims of the Akosombo Dam spillage.
They presented over GHC 100,000 worth of relief items to the people of Mepe, Bator, Sogakope and its environs.
The gesture is part of the Corporate Social Responsibility of Edem’s Goget’em Foundation and BH-Fertago to support the underprivileged in society.
It is also their response to the tragedy caused by the spillage of the Akosombo Dam in the Volta Region.
BH-FERTAGRO imports and supplies fertilizers – with great respect for quality standards, safety, speed and innovation.

This is the second time Edem particularly has been engaged in such a kind gesture. A few weeks ago, Edem Goget'em was part of a delegation that donated some relief items to the communities affected by the Akosombo Dam spillage.
The leader of the delegation for the donation was businessman Francis Kofi Kpolu, with support from lawyer Godwin Edudzi Tamakloe.
They also presented items such as cement bags, mosquito nets, food stuff and other relief products to the traditional leaders and the member of parliament.
In the meantime Edem is preparing to host his annual Edemfest in Ho on November 18, 2023.
