Some electorates in Odododiodioo constituency are expressing their frustration and disappointment with unfulfilled promises.
Citing a lack of basic necessities like water, employment, and electricity, the constituents pledged not to participate in the upcoming general elections.
The people disclosed this during the segment ‘Odododiodioo In Focus’ on JoyNews’ AM Show on Friday.
“We are tired of being neglected ‘’one man told host, Sweety Aborchie.
Another man added, “Basic necessities like employment, electricity and progress remain nonexistent and as a result of that it has instilled indiscipline in the youth.”
In view of this, the electorates are calling on the government to as a matter urgency provide portable water, and uninterrupted electricity, and good jobs.
They also asked traditional leaders to engage the government to bring development to the constituency.
In 29 days, electorates in the country would go to the polls decide who would be steering the affairs of the country from January 5, 2025 to 2029.
As December 7, draws near, the campaign intensifies, with political parties disseminating their commitments to transform the country when they are given the opportunity.
However, the people in Odododiodioo constituency believe many past promises have not been fulfilled and want the incumbent government to attend to their needs now.
