Outdoor family gatherings are not a common sight in Kumasi, but the Luv FM Family Party in the Park changed that narrative for New Year 2025.
The city's largest outdoor event, uniquely provided a platform for thousands of families to come together, creating a rare opportunity for communal joy and bonding in Oseikrom.
The uplifting Luv FM Family Party set the mood for shared memories and merriment through gleeful field activities.

The gathering that brought thousands of families, not only provides a platform for family bonding but also reinforces community spirit in the Garden City.
The beautiful atmosphere, coupled with finely trimmed grasses and trees at Rattray Park, was enough motivation for families to come together to eat, drink, and chat heartily.
The children were perhaps the most excited as they participated in dancing competitions, face painting, bouncy castles, electric trains, trampoline, swimming among other activities.

The mothers had a good time at the cooling competition which won them prizes from sponsors.
The old folks were attracted to Live Band music performances for their listening pleasure and relaxation.
This is Luv FM’s way of bringing families together.
“The election got everything on hold. I was personally busy with exams and academics and so there was no space. These events have brought all of us together so the bonding has been strong. Imagine I met you here and now we are having a conversation: that's how the networking and bonding is going on,” one reveler said.

“Today was so fun and I can't even express myself. There is so much to do at the playground and I am even tired. And I still don't want to go home. This is my third time coming here. Today was superb. One the best times of my life,” an excited kid shared.
Revelers were treated to super exciting activities as they joined in the fun of the season.
In an unexpected twist, the Ghana Police Service joined the festivities, adding to the excitement while still in uniform, enhancing the festive atmosphere.

“It’s always a delight to see everyone joyful like this. We are here based on the instructions of the IGP, that we should add this side attraction for everybody to know that we are friendly,” a police officer said.
The 2025 edition saw overwhelming numbers of family units.
Host of ‘Ofie Kwan Oo” on Nhyira FM, Kingsley Odame Amoako (Asanka De Boyosman) who hosted the adult corner of the event says the upward numbers are a confirmation of maximum satisfaction.

“This is the adult corner. See the excitement unlimited and it's only Multimedia that can command such a feat. And our audiences have come to accept how well we treat them with our top events.
“The Multimedia brands are a get-result brand. And so many brands decided to associate with us, amplifying the success we see today,” he said.
Sponsors of the Luv FM Family Party in the Park included Verna mineral water, Jwango Energy drink, Frytol, Tasty Tom, Flora Tissues, Cowbell, Top Choco, and Movee Restaurant.
