The Ghana National Fire Service says it has commenced investigations into what could have started a fire outbreak at offices of Volta River Authority (VRA) at the heritage towers at Ridge in Accra.
The fire, which started at about 11 am on Sunday, affected the Security and Real Estate Department of the Volta River Authority (VRA).
It destroyed some equipment at the computer room of VRA but the cause of the fire is not immediately known.
Speaking to JoyNews, Public Relations Officer of the Ghana National Fire Service, Prince Billy Anaglatey said investigations have already commenced.
He noted that they erre yet to interrogate the security men at the premises to know the exact time the fire started.
Mr. Anaglatey was optimistic that with their expertise and the corporation of the security men, the cause of the fire will be known in the shortest possible time.
