The founder and leader of Kings Word Family has admonished his colleague, Pastor Elvis Agyeman, to “focus on God as attacks on pastors and ministries are to be expected.”
Prophet Samuel Larbi-Gyimah spoke to Joy FM’s Pastor Ato Acquah while discussing the subject 'Understanding and dealing with attacks in ministry' on the 'A Walk with Jesus' show.
The founder and leader of Grace Mountain Ministries has been in the news earlier in the week after a picture of church workers counting what is believed to be offertory from service on December 31, last year surfaced.
Many accused him of making too much money as a pastor.
Following that there were attacks on his person and ministry on social media, his YouTube channel and Facebook accounts were hacked and his videos were deleted.
When asked to share his experience as a pastor who oversees a large church and has been in ministry for quite a long time, he stated that people peddle falsehoods about ministers with the aim of tarnishing their image.
He cited an incident in which some unknown persons sneaked into his church and smeared blood-like substances to brand him as an occultist.
Prophet Samuel Larbi-Gyimah stated that the attacks on pastors and ministries come from both within and outside the minister's circles.
According to him, many of those who indulge in these activities “may be operating from a lower realm of intelligence or knowledge” and “because the devil has an agenda to frustrate the work of God”.
