Black Stars midfielder Thomas Partey claimed the Player of the Year award at the 2025 edition of the Ghana Football Awards.
The seventh edition of the award ceremony took place at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday, June 14.
Partey was an instrumental figure for Arsenal despite missing out on the Premier League title for another season.
The 32-year-old beat competition from Antoine Semenyo of Bournemouth and Athletic Bilbao’s Inaki Williams.
Partey was available for the majority part of the season being a force in the Gunners midfielder as they run their way to the semifinal of the UEFA Champions League.
His win this makes it the third time he has won the prestigious award having also claimed it in 2018 and 2019.
