Having scored their second goal of the season last weekend, Hearts of Oak continued their progress in midweek with a win over Medeama SC.

The Phobians snatched a 3-1 victory over the Tarkwa-based side on matchday eight of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season. 

A brace from Hamza Issah and Ibrahim Salifu’s opener propelled Martin Koopman’s side to their second win of the season. 

Legon Cities were on the receiving end of a battering as they suffered a 3-0 defeat to Samartex away from home. 

Former Asante Kotoko midfielder Emmanuel Keyekeh was among the goals for the Timber giants. 

Nations FC also thumped Real Tamale United at the Kwame Kyei Sports Complex, scoring four unanswered goals in the encounter.

Dreams FC’s slow season continued at home as they were beaten by Berekum Chelsea with a 2-0 scoreline.
