Hearts of Oak bounced back from a troubling start to the 2023/24 betPawa Ghana Premier League after beating Nsoatreman Football Club on Sunday.
Having lost their opening game against Real Tamale United, Kashala Ramos scored in the seventh minute of the game against Nsoatreman at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Ramos' early strike sealed the victory for the Phobians as they registered their first points of the campaign.
Defending champions Medeama will have to wait again to pick their first win of the new season as they suffered a defeat against Aduana Football Club.
Bright Adjei and Gabriel Akwasi Mensah scored in the second half to ensure a 2-0 win for the Dormaa-based side.
Elsewhere in Bechem, Samuel Osei Kuffour netted the only goal of the game as the Hunters edged out Dreams Football Club.
Heart of Lions and Great Olympics played out a goalless draw while Karela United picked up their first win of the season with a 3-1 victory over Berekum Chelsea.
Newly promoted side Nations Football Club were also 2-0 winners over Samartex at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
Bofoakwa Tano occupy the top of the league table after two games with four points having beaten RTU in their second game on Friday.
Accra Lions, Asante Kotoko and Medeama are all on one point each.
