Medeama SC kept their unbeaten home record intact as they came from a goal down to draw against Basake Holy Stars.
The two teams met on matchday 15 of the Ghana Premier League with Medeama hoping to return to the top of the league table.
However, they could only settle for a 1-1 draw at the TNA Stadium against Holy Stars on Monday, December 22.
Moses Author opened the scoring for the visitors after half an hour gone in the game, giving Holy Stars a first half advantage.
The Yellow and Mauve lads chased every ball upon their return from recess as they hoped to draw level.
Yusssif Mubarik had a penalty saved in the 61st minute, keeping the score at 0-1.
Koffie Hagan, who had been booked in the first half, was sent off after suffering a second yellow card in the 87th minute, reducing Holy Stars to 10 players.
Medeama made the numerical advantage count as Kingsley Braye came off the bench to score the equaliser on the 90th minute mark.
The 1-1 result means Medeama stay second on the table, behind Aduana FC while their next task will be against Heart of Lions.
Basake Holy Stars on the other hand come up against Hohoe United in their next league fixture.
