The Aviation Social Centre in Accra burst with energy and raw emotion on Saturday night as fans trooped in their numbers to witness the highly anticipated UEFA Champions League final between Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) — and what unfolded was nothing short of a football spectacle.
By the time the final whistle blew, PSG had crushed Inter 5–0 in one of the most dominant Champions League final performances in recent memory, sending their fans and thousands of neutrals into a frenzy at Hitz FM’s iconic Rep Ur Jersey event.

From the onset, the venue was a sea of colours as football lovers showed up in club jerseys from across Europe.
The excitement was palpable, the crowd electric. Massive screens beamed the action live as people packed every available space, waving flags, blowing vuvuzelas, and chanting team anthems. But as the goals kept coming in for PSG, the mood shifted.

Tears rolled down the faces of some Inter supporters who couldn’t bear to watch as their side crumbled under PSG’s relentless attack. Many buried their faces in their hands; others simply sat stunned in silence.
In stark contrast, PSG fans were on cloud nine. With each goal, the cheers grew louder, the celebrations more intense. Fireworks lit up the skies above the Centre, horns blared, and fans broke into wild jubilation. Even neutrals couldn’t help but celebrate the sheer brilliance of the French champions’ display.

The event, powered by Hitz FM, was more than just a football screening; it was a full-day fan festival. Prior to kickoff, attendees took part in various games, including FIFA video tournaments, table tennis, basketball, and a five-a-side football gala. Winners received prizes from event sponsors, including Nasco, Itel, and others.

As the curtain closed on an unforgettable night, fans poured out of the venue still singing, dancing, and praising what many described as “PSG’s night of magic.” Whether in tears or in triumph, every fan walked away knowing they had witnessed history and experienced it in the most thrilling way possible.
Football, fun, and unforgettable moments — Rep Ur Jersey once again lived up to the hype.
