HR Focus storms the varsity canvas once again with of its seasoned tertiary competition; the HR Focus Business Challenge 2019. The challenge saw nine universities in Ghana battling it out in the preliminary stage of the competition.
Criteria for awarding marks was based on teamwork, creativity, presentation, feasibility and acceptability of each competing school’s presentation
At the end of the day, the schools ranked as follows; Wisconsin and All Nations Universities tied at the 7thposition; UGBS – 6th; Ashesi University – 5th; UPSA and KAAF tiedat 3rd; Pentecost University– 2nd, and KNUST – 1st.
The twist of the day was that all teams qualified to the next stage of the competition; having passed the threshold of 120 marks. The next stage of the competition promises to be tougher and demanding.
The judges of the day were Mr Dominic Naadi (HR Business Partner, Standard Chartered Bank), Sylvia Turkson (Service Delivery Manager, Standard Chartered Bank) and Mr David Mills (Head, L'AINE HR Consultancy).
