Putting out a list of who the best emcees or rappers are, seems to have become a good place to start a conversation about rap and how artistes in the genre have affected society.
It has also become a way for rappers to see how well their craft is viewed from a wide variety of opinions and compared to others.
However, the lists of many people and DJs have not sat well with many people who believe some of those lists need to be reworked on.
For Tinny, who appeared on DJ Black’s list at number 21, believes he has to be counted among the top-10 best rappers in Ghana.
Speaking to Daniel Dadzie on the Super Morning Show, he stated that “I have not even gone through the list (DJ Black’s) but I deserved to be in the top-10.”
Tinny, however, admits that DJ Black is entitled to his opinion but “I don’t think being at 21 is fair.”
Although his name has not been mentioned much lately, the rapper said people appreciate him for what he has done in the industry and the rap game.
Asked which artistes would be in the top -10 with him, Tinny named Kwadee, Obrafour, Sarkodie, Lord Kenya, Yaa Pono, Okyeame Kwame, Reggie Rockstone and Paa Dogo.
