The Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong has revealed that he has numerous evidence against the Head Pastor of the International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim.
In an exclusive interview with Joy News’ Mamavi Owusu Aboagye, the MP said the preacher has been involved in many illicit activities and he is bent on exposing him.
Kennedy Agyapong said he is on a mission to expose fake pastors who have taken advantage of innocent Ghanaians and are living lavishly at their expense.
“He sent him young men to attack me on radio and television. And they were insulting me, but I am focused. I have 1,001 evidence against him.
“This is because I have sent people there to investigate the transfers. He puts money into people’s account and transfer to Spain and that is money laundering,” he said.
The MP who over the years has made headlines for his controversial statements on issues has lately been engaged in a feud with Obinim after the MP sought to expose what he describes as the preachers's shady character.
In a series of programmes on his television station, Net 2 TV, Kennedy Agyapong accused the pastor for forgery, manipulation and money laundering which led to his arrest and subsequent release on bail.
However, the Assin Central MP said, Bishop Obinim is yet to face another accusation from Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) for engaging in money laundering.
“I am not going to rest because in the cause of my investigation, I realized that he has done harm to a lot of innocent people in this country and I have to let Ghanaians know.”
