Leader and founder of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, has dismissed recent claims by Bernard Antwi Boasiako aka Chairman Wontumi, that he anointed Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia to become the next president of the country.
In a response, Owusu Bempah has categorically denied any such event, labelling the claims as false.
According to Wontumi, who is the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), he accompanied Dr Bawumia to Owusu Bempah’s residence, where the preacher allegedly anointed the Vice President as the chosen leader to succeed President Nana Akufo-Addo.

However, speaking from his pulpit, Owusu Bempah refuted the narrative, maintaining that no such encounter occurred.
Owusu Bempah also challenged Wontumi’s assertion that he is unable to set foot in Kumasi following his recent prophecy that ex-President John Dramani Mahama would be the next leader of the country.
He dismissed these claims as equally baseless, insisting that his connection to the Bantama area, where he grew up, remains strong.
“There is no truth to what Wontumi is saying,” Owusu Bempah said during a sermon.
“I am a Bantama boy, and the claims are laughable. When I was living in Kumasi, Wontumi was just a young boy.
"He claims he came to my house with the Vice President and that I anointed Bawumia, but that is completely untrue. Even Bawumia himself knows Wontumi is not telling the truth,” he told the congregation.
