Joy Sports’ George Addo Jnr will be at Anfield on the dramatic final day of the English Premier League season to watch Liverpool's title-decider against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The game, on Sunday, will see the journalist at the stadium courtesy Standard Chartered Bank.
He is on a mission to Anfield for two reasons: to cheer Liverpool - who they sponsor - to a historic season finish, and to also win another trophy altogether.
Since 2015, Standard Chartered's various country branches have been engaging in an annual eponymous tournament - the Standard Chartered Trophy - in the UK.
It is an annual international 5 a side football tournament, across key markets in Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
Each market organizes a competition in the territory in which they operate, and the winning team is flown for a global slugfest at Anfield.
This year, the winner from the Stanchart Ghana competition is Wilmar Africa, producer of Frytol, and they will represent Ghana at Anfield.
Addo Jnr, who is Joy FM's lead football commentator, will be there to cover both the Stanchart Trophy 2019 and the possible memorable title triumph of Liverpool.
George will also be at the training sessions of Wilmar Africa, as they aim to be the first rep from Ghana to win the Stanchart Trophy competition for the first time.
Ghana has been participating in this tournament since 2015 and has had the opportunity to take staff, clients and media personalities to Anfield to watch Liverpool FC home games and interact with some legends of the club. Also there, are two client teams from GNPC - winners of the 2016 Ghana tournament and EIB Network, winners of 2018 edition.
They will all compete in the grand finale at Anfield.
You can follow George Addo Jnr on various Multimedia platforms throughout the trip and you can also check him out social media: Twitter: @addojunr, Facebook: @addojnr and on Instagram: @addo_junr.
