New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Adansi Asokwa Constituency and Trade Minister Kobina Tahir Hammond has filed a criminal complaint against National Democratic Congress MP for Ketu North Dr. James Klutse Avedzi.
K.T Hammond in his complaint to the Police alleges that he has been assaulted by the Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee.
A video has gone viral following the indefinite adjournment of Parliament last week where some NDC MPs including Dr. Avedzi are seen haggling with the Trade Minister.

K.T Hammond who has since gotten a police medical form to be examined at the hospital says he will pursue his complaint to its logical conclusion.
“.. This man [Mr Avedzi] came out of nowhere and started pushing me, I kept shouting you can’t push me like that. He pushed me about five times. What did he think he was doing? I have filed a complaint,” he said.
