Indigenous liquor giant, Kasapreko Company Limited (KCL) placed sixth in the 2013 Ghana Club 100 ranking.
The Ghana Club 100 ranking is an annual event by the Ghana Investment Promotion Council (GIPC) to honour companies that excelled in their various areas of operations in the previous fiscal year.
Founded by Dr. Kwabena Adjei in 1989 at Nungua in the Greater Accra region, Kasapreko Company has grown to be one of the leading and successful alcoholic and non- alcoholic beverage producers in Ghana.
First set up in the garage of the owner, the company has grown into a multi-national company with state of the art automated factory located off the Spintex road and arguably one of Ghana’s leading exporters of manufactured goods.
With a vision to produce quality drinks for all everywhere, the company has since its inception focused on developing products derived from Africa’s rich heritage of herbs by using modern research and development methods to transform traditional recipes into desirable consumer brands.
Presently the company has 14 brands to its credit with Alomo Bitters being the flagship brand.
Aside its latest feat, Kasapreko was awarded the most Innovative Company and the Manufacturing Company of the year in 2012 by Ghana Investment Promotion Council (GIPC).
On his part, Deputy Managing Director of Kasapreko, Richard Adjei reiterated the vision of the company to produce quality drinks for all everywhere.
“Quality is of utmost importance to the company and never compromised in our processes at any stage. Our Quality Control Department ensures that, products put on the market are wholesome and acceptable to the customers,” he added.
The General Manager-Marketing& Business Development, Gil Real also thanked the company’s distributors and consumers for their continuous patronage that has made the company the No.1 in the industry.
He said the company will continue to be innovative in its processes and promised consumers quality products at all times.
