The Swede was confirmed as the new gaffer last month penning a two-year deal with the Ghana FA following successful negotiations.
Bjorkegren is expected to hold his first official press conference on Friday, February 14, at the GFA Secretariat to outline his plans for the team.
The team's first test under Bjorkegren will be a friendly game against Morocco next week in Casablanca before he continues his preparations for the rescheduled 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) tournament to be staged in July.
The Swede will be on the touchlines for the tournament hoping to see the team go past the group stage.
