Morocco's King Mohammed VI has conveyed a message of sympathy and solidarity to Donald Trump following an assassination attempt on the former President during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday.
"I was shocked and deeply saddened by yesterday's appalling assassination attempt at the campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania," stated King Mohammed VI.

The King expressed relief upon learning that Trump was safe and extended his sympathy and solidarity in light of the heinous attack.
The King strongly condemned political violence and wished Trump "a speedy recovery so that you may continue to serve your great nation."
"My thoughts and prayers are with you, Mr. President, your family, and the innocent victims of this deplorable act," the message concluded.
